Welcome to the FORMER TEXAS RANGER ASSOCIATION, which was formed in 1897 by former Texas Rangers. The association exists to preserve the true history of the Texas Rangers; to maintain and operate a museum dedicated to the Texas Rangers; to establish landmarks related to Ranger history, to administer a scholarship program, and to bring former Rangers, current Rangers and Ranger families together for fellowship, support and mutual purpose.
One hundred years later, we continue to carry out this mission to honor a gallant body of men, who made Texas the most storied state in the union
